Once you have the UAN Registration, it is always important to link it with your basic identity document. You also need to know how to activate your registration on the UAN member portal. We know that linking your Aadhaar with your UAN can be beneficial, as it helps to ensure that your personal and employment details are accurate and up-to-date in the EPF system. This can help to avoid any errors or delays in the calculation and crediting of your EPF contributions and benefits.

To link your Aadhaar with your UAN, you will need to follow these steps:

  • Visit the UAN portal (https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/) and log in using your UAN and password.
  • Click on the “Manage” tab, and then click on the “KYC” option.
  • Under the “KYC Details” section, you will see a list of documents that you can link to your UAN. Click on the “Aadhaar” option.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number and click on the “Verify” button.
  • If your Aadhaar details are successfully verified, you will be prompted to confirm the linking of your Aadhaar with your UAN. Click on the “Submit” button to complete the process.

It is important to note that you will need to have your mobile number linked to your UAN and your Aadhaar in order to complete the linking process online. If your mobile number is not linked, you will need to visit an EPF office or contact the EPFO to link your Aadhaar with your UAN.

Steps to Activate your UAN Number

  • If you do not know this step you need to know the same. If you have been assigned a UAN and you want to activate it, you will need to follow these steps:

  • Enter your UAN and your mobile number, and then click on the “Get PIN” button.

  • It is important to note that in order to activate your UAN, you will need to have your mobile number linked to your UAN and your EPF account. If your mobile number is not linked, you will need to contact your employer or the EPFO to update your details and link your mobile number with your UAN and EPF account.
