Co-developed by Cadillac Racing, Cadillac Design and Dallara.
Since teasing the idea of competing at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, Cadillac has been working around the clock to develop its GTP race car using all-new design, technology, and performance. With eyes set on the start line for 2023, Cadillac’s expanded race program is proud to reveal liveries for its V-LMDh electric prototype race cars. The three distinctive designs feature bold V-Series colors and graphics, with No. 01 in gold, No. 2 in blue, and No. 31 in red. The team of dedicated drivers waits in anticipation to prove their skills behind the wheel on circuits around the world.
The V-LMDh is powered by Cadillac’s all-new LMC55R 5.5L DOHC V-8, paired with the LMDh designated hybrid system. Developed in-house with Cadillac engineers, the naturally aspirated racing engine is rated up to 670 horsepower, per series specifications, and managed by a quick-shifting seven-speed sequential gearbox. The final design of the all-new electric Cadillac V-LMDh prototypes will make their competition debut at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona on Saturday, January 28th.
