Kirkland & Ellis advised General Catalyst Group Management, LLC (“General Catalyst”), a leading venture capital firm, on the closing of its second heath assurance focused fund (“Health Assurance Fund II”), which raised $670 million.  Health Assurance Fund II will enable General Catalyst to continue to invest in innovative companies that are accelerating consumer-centric and data-driven healthcare solutions designed to help people stay well, while bending the cost curve.
