A Linklaters team led by Filip Lecoutre (Partner Corporate & Finance, Antwerp/Brussels) advised Agfa-Gevaert Group on the sale of its Offset Solutions division to AURELIUS Group.
The Agfa-Gevaert Group is a leading company in imaging technology and IT solutions and holds four divisions: Radiology Solutions, HealthCare IT, Digital Print & Chemicals and Offset Solutions.
Within the framework of its ongoing transformation process, our client Agfa-Gevaert has entered into an agreement for the sale of its Offset Solutions business to Aurelius Investment Lux Five SARL. The Offset Solutions division is a global supplier to the offset printing industry, offering commercial, newspaper and packaging printers integrated prepress and printing solutions. In 2021, this division with 1,700 employees accounted for €748 million of revenue.
The proposed transaction is subject to customary employees’ information and consultation processes, regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
