A rally to honor first responders who put themselves in harm’s way to help and protect others.

In 2020, Rusnak/Westlake Porsche revealed the Hero 911 Project. This very special Porsche 911 was created to honor Sergeant Ron Helus whose life was taken when responding to the Thousand Oaks shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill. Rusnak/Westlake Porsche also hosted the 2020 Sgt. Ron Helus Memorial Car Rally which was held to raise awareness of the fundraising efforts for the Helus Training Facility.

In 2022, Rusnak/Westlake Porsche unveiled Hero 911 Version 2.0 and announced the Hero 911 Tribute Rally on August 7, 2022. This rally will be dedicated to the first responders who put themselves in harm’s way to protect others – law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, emergency management, and search and rescue. Proceeds from this event will benefit the all-volunteer Ventura County Sheriff’s East County Search and Rescue Team and the Ventura County Fire Department’s Widows & Orphans Fund.

The car rally will take place on August 7 in Westlake Village at 9:00 AM and end at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley at 11:00 AM, concluding at 1:00 PM. To learn how to purchase tickets to the rally, click the button below.
